Carl von Malaisé as Greene's driver

Greene's driver was Dominic Greene's nameless chauffeur and henchman. He was shot and killed by James Bond in the Atacama Desert in 2006.

In the 2008 film Quantum of Solace, Greene's driver was portrayed by German actor Carl von Malaisé.

The loyal and silent driver of Dominic Greene first appears guarding Greene's personal box at the Tosca opera peformance in Austria. When Greene and his entourage are departing, James Bond throws one of the personal bodyguards of Guy Haines off of a roof, landing on the front of Greene's car. Fearing his identity as a member of Quantum has been compromised, Greene orders the man's execution. The driver gets silently out of the car and shoots the man square in the chest, killing him and implicating Bond in his murder.

The driver later accompanies Greene to his meeting with General Medrano at the Perla de las Dunas eco-hotel in the Atacama Desert. As Greene is leaving, Bond arrives at the hotel and kills Medrano's ally Colonel Carlos, inciting a shootout with Greene's men in the hotel parking lot. Greene and his right-hand man Elvis retreat into the hotel, while the driver stays behind in the stairwell to try and kill Bond. Bond outwits him, however, firing his SIG-Sauer P226 several times into the driver's stomach, killing him. When the hotel subsequently burned down, the driver's body was incinerated with the rest of Greene's heavies.
