See also: James Bond (Disambiguation) birth date: 1956 firsth:Under Fire Last:Under Fire James Bond is a Senior Operational Officer of the 'Double-O' ('00') Branch, an ultra-covert Black Ops unit within the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6). As an agent of MI6, Bond holds code number "007". The 'double-O' prefix indicates his discretionary licence to kill in the performance of his duties.
During the production of the 2001 video game Agent Under Fire, then-current James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan had not at the time renewed his contract to play the character. As a result, Brosnan's likeness was not used in the game and he was replaced with English actor Andrew Bicknell, who provided both the likeness and voice for Bond in Agent Under Fire. Bicknell was set to reprise the role in the game's sequel Nightfire, but due to Brosnan renewing his Bond contract his likeness was again used with the voice of Bond being provided by Maxwell Caulfield.
