John Glen

John Glen is an English film director, editor and author. He is best known for his work on several James Bond films from the 1960s to the 1980s. He edited and contributed second-unit directorial work to On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker before he was promoted to director on For Your Eyes Only in 1981. Glen went on to direct a total of five Bond films, a record unbroken by any other director. He followed For Your Eyes Only with Octopussy in 1983 and A View to a Kill in 1985. He then went on to direct The Living Daylights in 1987 and Licence to Kill in 1989. He was responsible for the final three Roger Moore Bond films as well as both of Timothy Dalton's efforts.
