Michael Kamen

Michael Kamen was an American composer whose works includes multiple action film scores throughout the 80s and 90s, such as Die Hard and Lethal Weapon. In 1989, John Glen selected Kamen to score the James Bond film Licence to Kill because he felt that Kamen could give "the closest thing to John Barry."

Michael Kamen died of a heart attack in London in 2003. He was 55 years old.
