Spectre is a 2015 spy film and the twenty-fourth official installment of the James Bond film series. It is the fourth film to star Daniel Craig as Bond, and is the also the second to feature Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny and Ben Whishaw as Q. The cast also includes Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista, Andrew Scott, Léa Seydoux and Monica Bellucci.

PlotEdit

A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

Daniel Craig as James Bond, British MI6 agent 007.

Christoph Waltz as Franz Oberhauser, the villain. Oberhauser is the mastermind behind the SPECTRE organization and has close personal ties to Bond.

Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, the henchman. Hinx is a silent enforcer dispatched by the top dogs at SPECTRE to kill Madleine Swann.

Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, one of the two Bond girls. Swann is the secret daughter of Bond's old enemy Mr. White who is targeted for elimination by SPECTRE.

Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, one of the two Bond girls. Lucia is the widow of Marco Sciarra, a SPECTRE assassin who meets his end at Bond's hands.

Andrew Scott as Max Denbigh, a member of Whitehall. Denbigh, also known by his codename C, wants to form "Nine Eyes," an intelligence cooperation agreement between nine different nations, and close down the 00 section in the process.

Ralph Fiennes as M, the head of MI6 and Bond's superior.

Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, M's secretary.

Ben Whishaw as Q, the MI6 quartermaster.

Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, the MI6 Chief of Staff.

Jesper Christensen as Mr. White, an agent of Quantum. Mr. White is now living as a hermit in Austria, patiently awaiting his inevitable death at the hands of a SPECTRE hitman.

Other cast members include Alessandro Cremona as Marco Sciarra, a SPECTRE hitman killed by Bond in the pre-title sequence, Stephanie Sigman as Estrella, who is with Bond in Mexico during the Day of the Dead, Marc Zinga as Moreau, the main speaker at SPECTRE meetings, Benito Sagredo as Guerra, a SPECTRE member executed by Hinx, and Judi Dench makes an uncredited appearance as her version of M in a posthumous video message to Bond.

The theme song was performed by English singer Sam Smith and is nominated for the 2015 Academy Award for Best Original Song, following in the footsteps of Adele's Skyfall.

Thomas Newman returned to reprise his scoring duties from Skyfall and uses several of the same motifs from that soundtrack in Spectre.
