Victoria Leigh Blum (October 15, 1949 - January 4, 2021), known professionally as Tanya Roberts, was an American actress and early 1980's Hollywood sex symbol who played the Bond girl Stacey Sutton in the 1985 Bond film A View to a Kill with Roger Moore. For this role, she was nominated for "Worst Actress" at the Razzie Awards.
Roberts was best known for her role as Julie Rogers on the fifth and final season of Charlie's Angels (1980–1981) and as Midge Pinciotti on That '70s Show (1998–2001). She also starred in the movies The Beastmaster and Sheena, the latter of which also earned her a nomination for "Worst Actress" at the Razzie Awards. She got the part as Stacey Sutton when producer Albert R. Broccoli saw Beastmaster on a late-night movie. Enjoying Roberts' work, he convinced her to audition.
Trivia[]
- In an episode of That '70s Show from 2000, Roberts' character renews her wedding vows. Her bridesmaids are played by Maud Adams, Kristina Wayborn, and Barbara Carrera; all four share the title of Bond girl (though Carrera only appeared in the non-Eon production Never Say Never Again).
