Terence Young

Terence Young was an English film director best known for directing the first official James Bond film; Dr. No from 1962 starring Sean Connery. Young went on to direct the second and fourth Connery Bond films; 1963's From Russia with Love and 1965's Thunderball, which was the highest grossing Bond film until 2012's Skyfall.

Terence Young died of a heart attack in Cannes, France in 1994. He was 79 years old.
